Album/Demo Reviews

First, a quick note from the Admin:
All reviews are presented as honest opinions and should be taken with a grain of salt, because one man's trash is another man's treasure. Never let the fact that some guy on the net said a CD sucked discourage you from checking a band out on your own. Same philosiphy goes for show reviews, as well. The reviewer could have easily caught the band on a bad night. To be honest, I seldom, if ever, read album or show reviews, except to, hopefully, get some insight into what bands that I have not heard are all about. With that said, I hope we don't piss off any of the bands we review on this site.

How to request a CD or Live Show review:
We have a large panel of users to which I hand selected to do all of the reviews on this site. I chose them because I feel that they have a pretty open mind and un-biased opinion in general and are able to express themselves without coming off like assholes. With that having been said, I make suire that ALL of my reviewers know that they should feel NO pressure to write a positive review. I'm more interested in truthful reviews with some constructive critism that might be able to help all of these young, up and coming bands out there.

All review requests are sent to this panel of users and from that poimnt it's decided who, if anyone is willing to take on the responsibility, will get in touch with you and make the needed arrangements.

For Live Show reviews, all I request is that you get the reviewer on the guest list if at all possible.

For CD Reviews, please make sure you understand that after review, you will not be getting the CD back.
